• Step 1: Pre-Inspection
Our Technician will do a walk through inspection with you to identify soiling conditions, carpet construction, and potential permanent stains.
• Step 2: Personalized Cleaning Procedure:
After inspection we will create a personalized plan for cleaning your carpets. We will determine the best course of action for selecting emulsifiers and rinsing agents to maximize the cleaning process.
• Step 3: Pre-spot
Some spots (such as rust for example) are pre-treated for maximum removal.
• Step 4: Pre-spray
Carpets will be pretreated with safe, biodegradable cleaning agents (determined by inspection) to release the trap soil.
• Step 5: Pre-groom
Some areas of carpet may be pre-agitated with a carpet groomer (depending on soil level) to further loosen traffic area soil.
• Step 6: Furniture Moving
Sofas, chairs and tables will be carefully moved. Larger pieces, such as beds and dressers are left in place under our regular pricing structure. Furniture will be protected with disposable blocks and tabs.
• Step 7: Extract and Rinse
Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction cleaning process will thoroughly flush the carpet pile. We operate the most advanced carpet cleaning trucks in the industry producing high cleaning temperatures that sanitize carpets and extract over 95% of the moisture, resulting in carpets that are dry to touch in 2 hours or less.
• Step 8: Neutralizer
The pH is balanced on every carpet and fabric cleaned. This is one of the most important steps in the carpet cleaning process according to the major carpet manufacturers. It is accomplished during the extract & rinse process and why proper knowledge and use of quality rinsing agents is so important.
• Step 9: Post Spot Treatment
Extra attention will be paid to stains that do remove under the above steps. Potential permanent stains, as identified by the technician, may not be removed.
• Step 10: Speed Dry
High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet during the process to insure quick drying time.
• Step 11: Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results and make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.
• Step 12: Customer Care Package
You will receive a customer care package that includes Free Spot Cleaner and information on keeping your carpets clean in-between professional cleanings. You will also be reminded periodically of your last service date and made aware of other service specials we offer only to JEM-CLEAN Customers.
